Hi everybody, I have a 2017 year Audi A6 4G C7.5. I read a lot of forums about this theme but I haven't found the 100% sure right answer yet. I would like to disable the start stop function and I don't want to see the yellow led. I found this description in all forums: - module 09-Cent. Elec. - enter Security Code (20113) With some persistence I was able to figure this out for anyone interested using VCDS On the C7.5, to change the MMI logo on the splash screen to the other models open up the 5F controller and then go to 07-Coding. Within coding, go to byte 18 and your stock value should be "06" for an A6. Changing this to "08" will switch the logo to RS6. Message popped up on Friday - engine management light came on, too, and remains on at all times. Car drives fine but the stop/start function stopped working. Q: the car is due a major service in 2k miles, which will be approx end of January/beginning of Feb, do I No, because in most markets (and likely yours), the vehicle has been certified on its default start-up parameters. And in this case it is with the engine / transmission in D mode, and with auto start/stop activated. To change from the certified settings requires a deliberate user intervention. .
